Merry Meet, all you web crawlers! As you can see my nick is WindWolf and I'm one of the ops on #wicca. I also sometimes serve as High Priestess for some of our online full moon rituals.
I live on a small farm in a rural area of Oregon. Horses, dogs, cats and other assorted barnyard creatures share this land with us. I am mother to three beautiful kids, ages 5, 2 and 1. I work at home taking care of the kids and the farm. I also serve as president and head trainer for a non-profit corporation that teaches adaptive recreational horseback riding to people with disabilities. (Donations gladly accepted! :) ) I have been involved with adaptive riding programs, in one capacity or another for about five years now and I have found it to be one of the most fufilling things I have ever done.
Wicca, also, came into my life about five years ago. I stumbled upon it while doing some reading for a womens studies course I was taking at the time. From there, I visited the local library, found some more books and started a journey that I'm sure will last the rest of this lifetime. I practice eceltic Wicca, which means I align myself with no particular tradition, rather I just pick and choose elements of each that I like and then work them into my Craft. As with most Wiccans, some paths or traditions speak more strongly to me than others. At present, I'm looking into some Native American spiritual practices and incorporating them into my form of the Craft. Wicca has been a strong force in my life since the first day I discovered it. I think it is a belief system that has much to offer all of the creatures that walk this wheel we call life.
