I'm sending you a temporary picture for the page. It was taken by a guest at my wedding. I'm the red bearded guy in the middle with the big smile.
The story is that I had not seen the woman who is now my wife for a week before the wedding (tradition). The wedding starts with us in different rooms, her sitting on a throne greeting the guests and me learning (a little greeting also). Right before the ceremony, the Ketuba (marrage contract) is filled out and other legal work is done. I (the groom) am led to where she is sitting by the men while they dance and sing. I place the veil over her and am led out for the actual ceremony. The picture above is me as I'm being led to her, as I catch sight of her for what seems the first time in my life.
What? a Rabbi on #wicca? well, why not. I tend to keep track of many of the more esoteric pages and channels. I know you have a lot of questions, so I'll try to anticipate and answer them.
1. Am I a real Rabbi?
Yes and no. I don't have Smicha, but I am a Teacher and Scholar. One day I hope to know enough to earn the title in another light.
2. Where am I and what do I do?
I live in Brooklyn, NY and work out of Westbury, NY. I write specialized web pages with heave CGI and database interactivity.
Other info:
My main interest is in the field of Torah study. As the Kabbalah is part of the Oral law, I study it. I stick to authentic Jewish sources for my studies and avoid most corruptions (crowley, etc.).
I'll post more info as necessary. if you have any questions you can email me. I'll have a personal web page up as soon as I get a free minute.
