GayElf (aka Vanyel) has been active in the wiccan community for many years. I was raised by a wiccan mother. So of course when I was young I rebelled to Christianity, at which time I went to seminary and even became a deacon for MCC (Metropolitian Community Church) I was a spiritual renewal evangelist - this gave me the oppurtunity to travel and speak to many people. All the while feeling that longing for the Goddess. So I left the church wiser and stronger, I hold dear some of the teachings of Christ as a teacher and wiseman he was excellent.
Now my soap box is bringing the Queer Pagan community together QPN and young peoples issues as this is a generation of people who are faced with more BS than many before. I also operate a web site call GayElf's Gay Pagan Haven which won an award in 2/96 for content and design and for being a resource to the LesBiGay Pagan community. I currently live in the Washington DC Metro area and have a very mundane job, as well as my own business, and on the board of a local orgaization.
