Arianrhod

Those of you who know the myth of Pandora's box will understand me best. The only thing left in the box after Pandora let all else escape, was Hope -- and I am the original optimist who always tries to see a bright side to everything.

I am a pagan/witch, but we don't have to talk about religious beliefs to have a fun conversation. As a matter of fact, I'll answer questions if you are curious, but I have no interest in converting you; all I ask is that you don't try to explain your beliefs to me if I haven't asked.

Even though I've only been on IRC for 8 months, I'm no child, I have a baby grandson :-)...and I think it is wonderful that we are able to talk to people from all around the world at once.

So, if you happen to run into me on the Undernet as Arianrhod (I have taken my nick from a major Welsh mother goddess...her name literally means Silver Wheel, from her "home" in the Aurora Borealis where there is a wheel of stars surrounding Polaris, the North Star)...anyhow, I would love for you to say "Hi" and stop to chat a while.

For those who know astrology, I'm a Leo with Libra moon and Sagittarius rising -- meaning I try to be fair and just, but I like to be in charge!

When I was 8 yrs. old, our school made us memorize Wm. Ernest Henley's poem "Invictus". From that time on, I knew I was a pagan, and have tried to live by the words of the poem. Blessed be.
